Date: 10th & 11th of April 2018
Location: IPA on Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4.
To introduce R to people who have to work with data and want to use R.
The course concentrates on data organising, data visualising, and data reporting, all using only R.
Many organisations and research groups have to deal with large amounts of data from multiple sources. They need tools for database access and for merging different data sources. They have to clean, restructure, summarise and visualise data and they want to report their findings in web-based and printed reports. All this needs to be done using one piece of software to enable efficient and consistent reporting. R is ideal for this purpose.
This course brings people up to speed on the basics of R and offers plenty of opportunity for hands-on learning. By the end of the course participants will be able to prepare their own data summaries and write their own reports.
